If you would like to fish our venue you are welcome to visit and have a look around and ask any questions you may have. If happy please complete one of our MEMBERSHIP FORMS. You will need proof of picture I. D. (Drivers license, passport or something similar etc) and a utility bill for proof of address, you will also need suitable rod licenses and an XL large High care Carp Cot Cradle, so please bring everything when you register. Your MEMBERSIP is for 12 months Exclusive Booking.
There is a charge of £50.00 for 12 months membership from the date you join and a discounted Renewal of £35.00, if you pay on or before the due date. You will need to JOIN at the Fishery prior to your session.

If you do not have a Carp Care Cradle you can hire one for £5 a day/night. Please note there is only a LIMITED NUMBER OF them available!

Rules for fishing Menards Fishery, Tackle is checked before you can fish
- 24 Hour Notice of cancellation required otherwise session is still payable.
- 42" Minimum Specimen landing net
- As we have fish to 54lbs plus UNHOOKING MATS must be The XL Large Hi Care Carp Cot Cradles. NO EXCEPTIONS!
- No braided main line, except marker/spod rods
- 12lb Minimum breaking strain line
- No lead core
- No fixed rigs and no Korda Safe Zone Leaders
- No Metal maggot ring clips
- BOOKINGS CAN ONLY BE TAKEN WITH YOUR MEMBERSHIP NUMBER.
- Minimum 2lb test curve rods essential
- Micro barbed hooks only (not barbed or barbless)In stock at Menards.
- Third rod available at extra cost
- No sacking of fish at any time
- No nuts of any kind, No Maggots between 1st March and 31st Oct
- No pellets as hook baits
- All rubbish must be taken home as we have no refuse collection thank you
- No loud music
- Do Not move swims during your session without speaking with Paul first
- If anyone is seen standing whilst holding a fish, they will be asked to leave the venue. And Wont be welcomed back.
- No shouting across the lakes or bright lights
- No children AT ANY TIME
- No disposable BBQ's or fires
- RODS NOT TO BE LEFT UNATTENDED
- Tickets available at the Lodge and on the bank when Lodge is closed
- Boilies and pellets available in lodge
- Bait boats welcome, please use within your designated swim area.
- No dogs and PLEASE DO NOT FEED THE FISHERY DOG
- No Tents only Bivies
- All spectators must vacate the fishery by 6.PM. NO EXCEPTIONS.
- Indian Kebab and chinese all delivered to the car park. Please give mobile number. (All rubbish must be taken home as we have no refuse collection)
- Gates Close 8pm and Re Open 6am
- When returning fish after capture, please support the fish in the water giving it plenty of time to recover before releasing
- When photographing fish, support the fish over a large cradle mat, kneel and never stand up with fish
- When moving the fish use a landing net or zipped up unhooking mat and NEVER carry the fish unsupported even for short distances.
Fish Safety
Please make sure that when you fish at Menards, that your landing net, way sling, unhooking mat and anything else that will be in contact with the fish is THOROUGHLY DRY, so as not to spread diseases. Also make sure you have in your possession antiseptic such as Clinic to treat hook holds and any other damage. Thank you Paul.

LATER ADMITANCE CAN BE ARRANGED WITH PAUL FOR MEMBERS BOOKED ON. (BUT NO LATER THAN 8PM).
Predator Rules to be read in conjunction with main Fishery Rules
- Preditor fishing is only allowed in the Winter months Nov through to the end of Feb
- Static fishing ONLY from the 15 swims available
- Anyone who has not fished for pike before or who is under the age of 15 will not be allowed to fish unless supervised by an experienced adult
- Dead Baits only i.e. sprat/mackerel
- Live Bait and freshly killed dead baits must not be brought onto the fishery. Anyone found doing so WILL be prosecuted for illegal fish movements and not welcomed back
- You must be in possession of suitable tackle i.e. Carp or Pike rods. Sea tackle is not permitted
- You must have the correct unhooking mat and a specimen landing net,as per main fishery rules
- You must use a recognised wire trace system
- Only 1 or 2 hook rigs are allowed. When using double hook rigs,the hooks should not be more than 3" apart and no larger than size 6
- All hooks must be barbless and not larger than size 6
- No Spinners or Plugs
- This venue operates an immediate strike rule, delay in striking will only guarantee you a deep hooked fish
- If a fish is deep hooked,hold the fish in the water in a landing net and seek help.Do not prod about as this will kill the fish
- Never weigh or lift a fish by the gills
- When moving the fish use a landing net or zipped up unhooking mat and NEVER carry the fish unsupported even for short distances
- When photographing fish, support the fish over a large unhooking mat, kneel and never stand up with fish
- When returning fish after capture, please support the fish in the water giving it plenty of time to recover before releasing
If any of these rules are broken you will be asked to leave without a refund. Further action may be taken
